still waking up tired?

4 signs mouth tape could change your sleep

  • 1

Waking up groggy and foggy? Mouth breathing lowers oxygen levels and interrupts deep sleep. Mouth taping promotes nasal breathing, which improves oxygen flow helping your body stay asleep and wake up refreshed.

  • 2

Snoring, dry mouth, morning headaches or jaw tension? Open-mouth breathing can cause dehydration, increased snoring, and muscle tension in the face and jaw. Mouth taping supports a relaxed closed-mouth, reducing snoring and easing facial tension.

  • 3

Tossing, turning, or waking up at 3am? Disrupted breathing patterns trigger micro wake-ups which throw off circadian rhythm. With mouth tape, your body stays calm and regulated — leading to fewer wake-ups and better recovery.

  • 4

Low energy, even after a “good” night's rest? If you’re still dragging in the morning, your sleep might not be as efficient as it looks. Mouth taping improves sleep quality and recovery — so you feel the difference the next day.

what the FAQ is mouth taping?

If you wake up feeling groggy, experience dry mouth, bad breath, jaw tension, or morning headaches even after a full night’s sleep — you might be mouth breathing at night. Other signs you’re a mouth breather could include snoring, drooling, or waking up multiple times.

The simple test: Try using our mouth tape for a full night and analyse how you feel in the morning. If you wake up refreshed and feeling better you're likely someone who will benefit greatly from mouth taping at night.

No, nasal breathing is the body’s preferred method of breathing. Your body’s natural instincts will take over and allow you to breathe comfortably during sleep. A good first step to establish comfortability with mouth tape is to simply apply it 30 minutes before bed or during the day to practice nasal breathing. Long slow, deep nasal breathing is extremely relaxing and will shift your body and mind into a calm state.

If you’re concerned, we suggest consulting with your doctor if you’re feeling unsure about your ability to breathe through your nose.

Great question! Since we’re all unique in the way we breathe and sleep we decided to offer two unique sizes for you to find your best fit to ensure your best sleep.

THE STRIP is suitable for all experience levels while providing maximum strength for overnight use. It offers a larger surface area for greater coverage and stronger hold. If you’re a heavy mouth breather or novice user we suggest starting with the Strip.

THE MINI STRIP has the same strong adhesive with a minimalist design. It promotes low coverage and maximum comfort with the added ability to double as a nasal strip to open airways while sleeping. If you’re a light mouth breather or an experienced mouth taper, we suggest the Mini Strip.

Still not sure? We suggest trying out the 10-NIGHT STARTER PACK to find your best fit!

Our tape is made from 100% medical grade material. The top layer is an undyed, non-woven fabric that’s slightly stretchy and super soft while the adhesive layer is a non-toxic, silicone and latex-free formula built for sensitive skin areas like the face.

As a Canadian brand we teamed up with a reliable, medical grade manufacturer in the USA to ensure the process and materials were quality and high-standard.

Absolutely! One of the most common causes of snoring is mouth breathing. Switching to nasal breathing with the help of mouth tape has been shown to reduce snoring frequency by 50%, plus support people with mild sleep apnea.

Reducing your sleep disturbances from sleep ailments (snoring, apnea etc.) is a sure way to improve sleep quality.
